Presto Cast Tailpiece

If you?ve got a banjo (any type of five-string, openback OR resonator) that isn?t quite producing enough ear-filling TONE, this simple and inexpensive tailpiece is for you. Modeled after the classic pre-war Grover Presto (found on the most valuable and collectible banjos) our cast Presto is made in ONE PIECE. There?s nothing to come loose, like a hinged cover or tilt-adjusting bolt with a hinged top plate. The drop-bolt that mounts the tailpiece to the banjo screws rigidly into the bottom of the backplate. This extremely stiff and strong design transmits way more vibratory energy than any other type of tailpiece, thus maximizing the volume and tonal range of ANY banjo. The two tilt-adjusting bolts on the back-plate allow for accurate placement, and vertical adjustment is accomplished by simply turning the nut on the bottom of the drop-bolt to raise or lower the entire unit.
