The AC-5+1 is a real "six-string five-string" banjo for the curious player on a budget. This banjo adds a low G string and is tuned gGDGBD with that extra string. The AC-5+1 opens a lot of new musical possibilities to anyone's banjo arsenal. This is the kind of instrument that teases and entices musicians down new roads of playing and composition. Like all of our AC-series banjos, it features a durable and lively-sounding composite rim a for long life and a consistent tone.
This banjo also features a Zero Glide nut, vintage tailpiece, and chrome-plated hardware. It weight just about five pounds and features GT planetary tuners.
Available with or without a scoop at the base of the neck for easier clawhammer playing.
Comes with a gig bag.
