Its back and sides are crafted from highly figured 5A North American Maple, selected for visual beauty and tonal richness. The top is made from high RRV old-growth Swiss or Italian Spruce, carefully hand-scraped in the tradition of violin making. This artisanal process shapes the wood with precision, enhancing resonance, responsiveness, and tonal complexity, while ensuring each instrument carries its own unique voice. The top also features a recurve profile—a subtle arch that allows the soundboard to vibrate more freely, producing rich, full-bodied lows, singing mids, and sparkling treble that projects with clarity in every register. Together, the hand-scraped, recurve top delivers a voice that is at once dynamic, balanced, and expressive, responding to every nuance of the player’s touch.

The mandolin’s warm, vintage-inspired shellac and varnish finish highlights the natural beauty of the woods, while triple ivoroid binding and delicate Abalone and Mother-of-Pearl inlays provide refined visual elegance.

Designed for comfort and stability, the 1-1/8" radiused ebony fingerboard features 20 frets and a two-way truss rod for precise setup and smooth playability. A custom brass engraved tailpiece allows effortless string changes and optional muting behind the bridge for tonal versatility. Gotoh tuners, an ebony bridge, and nickel hardware complete the professional look while ensuring reliable tuning and superior projection.
