The Gold Tone IT-17 Irish Tenor Banjo combines traditional Irish tenor style with a modern folkternative design. Its 12" multi-ply maple rim and rolled brass tone ring deliver strong projection with a warm, full response and added bass presence—an increasingly popular sound for Irish session players.
The 17-fret maple neck with rosewood fingerboard and clover inlay is tuned GDAE, making it well suited for traditional Irish repertoire. A ZeroGlide nut, GT Master planetary tuners, and two-way adjustable truss rod help maintain stable tuning and reliable setup.
Finished in vintage brown satin with chrome-plated hardware, the IT-17 also features a Renaissance head, No Knot tailpiece, and curly maple armrest. Each instrument is professionally set up in Titusville, Florida, and includes a gig bag for easy transport.
