The double-cut headstock, combined with the Hearts-and-Flowers inlay pattern says it all. The OB-Standard pays respect to the GOAT Bluegrass banjoist that played this style of banjo for many years. This classic nickel-plated Mastertone™ flathead banjo is draped in authentic design with its maple neck and rim, creme ABS binding and Vintage Brown finish. Premium hardware and a Dotson bridge are ‘standard’ equipment. Another addition to our Professional-Grade banjo series, the OB-Standard sets the standard for a workhorse banjo that shows that you mean business when you put on your picks.
