The Manuel Ramírez Historical Guitar was handcrafted in the José Ramírez workshop under the direction of Amalia Ramírez. This instrument is a reproduction of the 1912-built classical guitar made by Manuel Ramírez that is exhibited at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. That guitar belonged to the maestro Andrés Segovia and was played at his historic concert at the Ateneo de Madrid in May 1913. The Manuel Ramírez Historical Guitar is limited to just 30 instruments that will share in this timeless design and craftsmanship.

The top is made of solid spruce, and it can be mated to solid Indian rosewood or solid Brazilian rosewood sides and back. The woods used in this first-class instrument are aged between 20 and 70 years to enrich their sound quality and increase the guitar's stability.

As a made-to-order guitar, the Manuel Ramírez Historical Guitar can be further customized. A handmade Manzano guitar case is included in the guitar's price.
