The Auditorio Trio was designed by Amalia Ramírez in collaboration with her friend and esteemed guitarist Manuel Babiloni. Babiloni has been a key component in the development of the Auditorio guitars, as the first Auditorio Duo was built for him, and he has been a key part of the process throughout the refinement and creation of the Auditorio Trio.
What sets the Trio apart from its predecessors is its body constructed entirely with Nomex. The guitar features a double top, a double back, and unlike the Duo, double sides. The double sides have an outer part made of rosewood and the inner part is made of cypress, which adds brightness to the sound, and Nomex material is sandwiched in-between. This guitar can also be built with a chambered body.
Guitarists who have played the Auditorio Trio say it has an enveloping, welcoming, and warm sound that achieves the "Ramírez" sound, but with even more power. This guitar can be built with a chambered body and is made to order with additional available customization options.
A handmade Manzano case is included in the price.
