José Ramírez 140 CWE Cutaway Studio Guitar

The 140 CWE Cutaway Studio Guitar is a fantastic classical guitar made in our Spanish factory. This instrument is crafted with superior quality woods and is known for its balanced sound, rich harmonic timbre, and ease of playability. It features a comfortable, lower-action touch compared to traditional classical guitars, and is now offered with a signature L.R. Baggs Anthem Preamp system that has been specifically voiced for José Ramírez instruments.

The L.R. Baggs Anthem SL pickup is an award-winning acoustic guitar pickup and microphone featuring the patented L.R. Baggs TRU•MIC technology. The TRU•MIC uses a revolutionary microphone engineered mounted to the underside of the bridge plate and uses noise cancellation to produce an amplified sound with excellent clarity and accuracy. The Anthem Preamp system delivers all the clarity and quality of the standard Anthem system but in a more minimalist package with a single volume control.

The top is made of solid cedar and the sides are made of solid Indian rosewood. The 140 CWE Cutaway uses an exclusive internal bracing design crafted by José Ramírez to ensure strength and stability for years to come. The cedar neck is topped with an ebony fretboard with a 50mm nut width, which is slightly narrower than traditional classical guitars for easier playability while the bridge is made of Indian rosewood.
