José Ramírez Romantica Historical Guitar

The Romantica is a first-class, handcrafted guitar made with woods that have been naturally dried for at least 20 years, which enhance the instrument's stability and sound quality. José Ramírez III conceived of the Romantica following his research into several Romantic-era guitars in the Ramírez family's collection of historical instruments. This new design was created with clear influences from the past, and is a beautiful tribute to those antique Romantic guitars. The Romantica has a sweet and intimate tone without sacrificing its projection and voice. José Ramírez III worked diligently to ensure the Romantica would maintain a great sonic projection despite its smaller overall size compared to traditional classical guitars.

The Romantica can be customized and is made-to-order, with a variety of options available to our customers. The top can be made of solid cedar or solid spruce while the sides and back can be made of a variety of different rosewoods such as Indian, River, and Madagascar rosewood. The guitar's body can also be chambered, if desired, to help prevent wolf notes and produce a clearer sound.

The price includes a handmade Manzano case.
