The 140 Flamenco Studio Guitar is new for 2026 and celebrates 140 years of José Ramírez guitars with an updated design we developed after months of working alongside flamenco guitarists. A new fan bracing design and body help the 140 Flamenco Studio Guitar produce a powerful low-end bass sound without sacrificing any of the brighter tones customary to flamenco music. This guitar features a solid spruce top, true to flamenco tradition, and comes with dark rosewood for its sides and back. An ebony fingerboard sits atop a cedar neck while Indian rosewood serves as the binding and bridge materials.

The 140 Flamenco Studio Guitar is great for achieving that flamenco sound, but it is also great for jazz, bossa nova, and other popular Latin-American music.
